About Global Door Stripping

Global Door Stripping is a family-run, women-owned business based in Milton Keynes. For over 20 years we’ve specialised in one thing and doing it properly: stripping and dipping doors, fireplaces, radiators and furniture back to bare timber and metal, ready to restore. What started as a local door-dipping service has grown into a trusted name across a wide area in England — but we’re still the same hands-on, family-run team.

We collect from your door, do the messy work in our workshop, and return your items beautifully clean — all for a flat £30 collection and return. We use a traditional caustic dipping process that reaches into mouldings, panels and castings you could never strip by hand, and we finish every job with the same care we’d give our own home. We can wax bare timber on request to nourish it and bring out the grain; everything else comes back as honest bare wood or metal, ready for the finish of your choice.
