The short version
We do not set any advertising cookies until you accept them. If you choose “Reject all”, no advertising or measurement cookies are stored, and the site works exactly the same.
What we use
Strictly necessary
A single entry is saved in your browser’s local storage to remember your cookie choice, so we do not have to ask again on every page. It contains only the word granted or denied. This is required for the site to honour your decision and cannot be switched off.
Advertising and measurement — only with your consent
We advertise on Google. When you accept, the Google Ads tag may set cookies that let us see which adverts led to an enquiry, so we are not paying for adverts that do not work. Typically these are Google’s _gcl_* cookies, set on this domain and kept for up to 90 days.
If you reject, the Google tag still loads but runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookies, does not read any existing ones, and does not receive advertising identifiers. This uses Google’s Consent Mode, so your choice is passed to Google rather than simply ignored.
What we do not do
We do not use analytics profiling, social media tracking pixels, or third-party advertising networks beyond Google Ads. We do not sell or share your browsing data.
Enquiry forms
Our quote and contact forms are processed by Netlify, who host this website. Submitting a form sends us the details you type in so we can reply. Netlify may set a short-lived cookie to guard against spam submissions. Form contents are used only to answer your enquiry.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent whenever you like — use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. You can also clear cookies and site data directly in your browser settings, which resets your choice and means we will ask again on your next visit.
