We check each piece’s construction, condition and any fixings to confirm the best method and flag anything fragile.
Collection
No transport headaches. We collect from your door at a previously agreed date and time, for a flat £30.
Dipping / Hand stripping
Each metal piece is lowered into a warm caustic solution to lift away every layer of paint, then pressure-washed clean. For wooden furniture we only use the hand stripping process.
Neutralising & drying
We neutralise any residue and dry the piece carefully.
Quality inspection
Every piece is checked against our standards before it leaves the workshop.

Yes — beds, gates, chests of drawers, dressers, wardrobes and decorative iron- and woodwork. Metal pieces are dipped; wooden furniture is hand-stripped to protect the joints.
Bare metal can surface-rust if left, so it should be primed reasonably soon after stripping. We dry it carefully and return it ready to prime.
Many steel and aluminium items can be stripped, but they're assessed individually — send us a photo and we'll advise.
